China to hand over missing Arunachal men to Indian Army today

NEW DELHI: China is handing five Indian nationals who went missing from Arunachal Pradesh today.

The handoff is taking place at Wacha near Kibithu border personnel meeting point, Indian media reports have said.

Earlier on Friday, India’s Union Minister Kiren Rijiju had hinted at a similar exchange.

In a tweet, he had said that the Chinese PLA has confirmed to Indian Army to hand over Indian youths from Arunachal Pradesh to the Indian side.

“The handing over is likely to take place on 12th September 2020 at a designated location,” he had said.
