Repatriation flights halted for two days



KATHMANDU: The chattered flights for the repatriation of Nepalis stranded abroad due to coronavirus have been postponed until Wednesday.

The flights have been halted for two days for the disinfection of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and management of holding centers.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, the repatriation flights will continue for next a week starting Wednesday.

The ministry is currently under discussions on whether to continue repatriation flights or resume regular flights.
