DAMAULI: A 10-year-old girl was killed when she was hit by a truck in Nayapul of Bandipur in Tanahun district.
Surta Pariyar, 13, of Paluntar, Gorkha was walking on the road side when she was hit by the truck heading towards Anbukhaireni from Dumre.
Pariyar, who was rushed to the Medical College in Bharatpur, died in course of treatment, said DSP Lila Raj Lamichhane at the District Police Office, Tanahun.
Police said they are investigating the case after taking the truck driver into custody.
