CCMC discusses on bringing, administering COVID-19 vaccines



KATHMANDU: The COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel has discussed bringing and administering COVID-19 vaccines.

A discussion was held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Friday on how to bring and distribute the vaccine against COVID-19 in Nepal.

Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Health Minister Bhanubhakta Dhakal, and others were present at the discussion.

Similarly, secretaries of the Ministries of Home, Finance, Foreign Affairs, General Administration, Health, and Tourism who have a role to play in bringing vaccines from abroad also participated in the discussion.

During the discussions, Coordinator Pokharel had instructed to start preparations to provide free vaccines to the people timely.

The meeting has decided to inform the general public about the works related to COVID-19 control.
