PM Oli flies to Kimathanka early Wednesday



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left for Nepal-China border Kimathanka, a village located on the Nepal-China border in Sankhuwasabha district, on Wednesday morning.

An MI-17 helicopter reached Baluwatar to pick Prime Miniter Oli this morning.

Prime Minister Oli is accompanied by Physical Infrastructure Minister Basanta Nembang, National Assembly Legislation Committee member Parshuram Negi, lawmaker Rajendra Prasad Gautam,  Chief Political Advisor Bishnu Rimal, personal secretary Rajesh Bajracharya and doctor Dibya Singh.

The team also includes Chief Minister of Pradesh 1 Sherdhan Rai and Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Armed Police Force Shailendra Khanal among other security officials.

Prime Minister Oli will inspect Kimathanka border in Bhotkhola rural municipality-1, BOP established a year ago, custom office building, dry port and 900-megawat Arun III hydro power project, said Baluwatar sources.

This is the first time that Prime Minister Oli is going out of Kathmandu after a kidney transplant on March 5.
