Google launches ‘People Cards’ on Search

NEW DELHI: Google has launched a Search Feature called ‘People Cards’ in India on Tuesday.

The People Cards are virtual visiting cards that can be created on Google Search. These cards are designed to help people wishing to be discovered online as well as for people wanting to share their work.

Users can create a virtual visiting card on Search, and highlight their website or profiles.

This feature is only available on mobile and can be accessed only in English. Google is, however, not expanding this feature for the time being.

A user can follow these steps to create a People Card:

Sign in to Google account, and type your name on Search.

Tap on “Add me To Search”

Tap on the prompt that appears.

Fill in the details.

To make your card descriptive, users can add profile images from their Google accounts, among others.
