PM’s Secretariat describes JSP’s press note as ‘demeaning, rude and prejudiced’

KATHMANDU: The Secretariat of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has condemned the language used by Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) against Prime Minister KP Oli describing it ‘indecent, coarse and prejudiced’.

Issuing a press note on Tuesday, Prime Minister’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa said the language by JSP is indecent, rude and motivated by pent-up jealousy.

A press statement issued by a central committee meeting of JSP on Sunday accused Prime Minister Oli of sowing seeds of divisions in the party and described him as physically and mentally inefficient for running the government.

PM’s Press Advisor Thapa labelled JSP’s remarks ‘vulgar and prejudiced’, which needs to be deplored.

Stating that disputes, differences and disagreements in politics are normal, Thapa suggested parties to refrain from making such irresponsible remarks.
