Nepalis in South Korea sending 4,000 testing kits today



KATHMANDU: Nepali nationals in South Korea have sent 4,000 testing kits and medications worth over Rs 8 million to Nepal.

These medical goods are arriving in Nepal on Friday.

Nepali people in South Korea had launched a “one man one health kit’ to help Nepal in its fight against Coronavirus well before the novel virus started hitting the Himalayan nation.

In a short span of time, they were able to raise a fund of Rs 14,079,775 to procure the medical items and testing kits.

NRNA had urged Nepali people in South Korea to raise the fund to assist Nepal at a time when the Covid-19 has gone pandemic across the world, President Yadu Lamichhane informed.

The testing kit ( US $ 20 per kit) gives results in three hours.
