KATHMANDU: Meteorologists have said the weather will gradually improve from today.

Many parts of the country including the Kathmandu Valley are covered in thick mists in the morning. It will clear in the afternoon.

According to Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the weather will  be partly to generally cloudy in the central and eastern hilly regions and mainly fair in the rest of the country today.

The westerly wind which was causing rains and snowfall in the country is gradually diminishing, said met office.

The temperature of Kathmandu Valley has been recorded at 6 degree Celsius on Friday morning.
