29,734 COVID-19 infected in home isolation



KATHMANDU: Out of 38,035 active COVID-19 cases, 29,734 people are in home isolation.

A total of 18,838 are in home isolation in Bagmati Province.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 4,850 people in Province 1 are in home isolation, 952 in Province 2, 2,160 in Lumbini Province, 865 in Sudurpaschim Province, 1,748 in Gandaki Province, and 321 in Karnali Province.

Meanwhile, 2,736 people were diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 has reached 199,760 with fresh cases as of Tuesday afternoon.

A total of 853 individuals were discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 160,577 in the country.

Nepal currently has 38,035 active cases.

Likewise, 1,058 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.

As many as 22 people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours taking the COVID-19 death tally in the country to 1,148 the Ministry confirmed.
