Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 1,148 with 22 new fatalities

KATHMANDU: A total of 22 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 1,148 as of Tuesday afternoon with the new deaths.

Similarly, as many as 2,736 people were diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 has reached 199,760 with fresh cases as of Tuesday afternoon.

A total of 853 individuals were discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 160,577 in the country.

Nepal currently has 38,035 active cases.

Likewise, 1,058 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
