Pokharel suggests Prachanda to hold one-to-one talks with Oli



KATHMANDU: Standing Committee Member of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NPC) and Lumbini Chief Minister Shankar Pokharel has said that there was no alternative to party Chairmen to reconcile.

According to a leader close to Pokharel, Pokharel had tried to appease Prachanda on Tuesday morning by saying that the two Chairmen should work together to resolve the issue.

Pokharel had urged Prachanda to agree to hold one-to-one talks with the Prime Minister.

However, Prachanda said that there was no point in sitting down with Oli to discuss the issue and the Secretariat meeting should be held to find a way ahead.
