DADELDHURA: A person died in a leopard attack in Dadeldhura.
Maya Mahato, aged around 18, of Shivanath rural municipality-4, Bagar of Baitadi died in the wild cat attack, according to the police.
District Police Office Dadeldhura said that the adolescent died when the leopard attacked her on Monday while she was cutting grass at Bhageswor rural municipality-1, Marmagad.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Dadeldhura Mahendra Nepal said a police team has already headed to the incident site to investigate into the incident.
Earlier on Sunday, a 12-year-old was also killed by a leopard at Bhageswor in Dadeldhura.
