Godawari municipality to remain closed for a week



LALITPUR: Godawari municipality has said it will remain closed for a week due to coronavirus.

Issuing a press note today, Chief Administrative Officer of the municipality Birendra Dev Bharati said the municipality will remain closed for a week starting Sunday after the coronavirus cases spiked of late.

All the services except the essential ones as laid down in the national gazette will be closed during the period, according to the press note.

Meanwhile, the number of cases has reached 282 in Godawari municipality.

Of them, 146 have recovered from the virus, 121 are in home isolation, six are undergoing treatment various hospitals, six are doing time in isolation of Badikhel and three have died, according to the municipality.
