DOTI: A person has been arrested on the charge of rape in Doti district.
Chief at the Area Police Office, Jorayel, Police Inspector Mahendra Thapa, said that Tek Bahadur Oli, 31, of Jorayel rural municipality has been arrested on the charge of raping a woman.
Police arrested Oli based on the complaint filed by the victim.
Oli had raped the woman on August 19, saying he is a shaman and one, who has no children, can be pregnant from shamanism, said Information Officer at the District Police Office, Doti, Indra Bahadur Malla.
