Division Forest Officer arrested with Rs 100,000 bribe



KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Nuwakot Division Forest Officer Jaya Mangal Prasad with Rs 100,000 bribe.

The commission had started the investigation after a complaint was lodged against him for soliciting a bribe of Rs 600,000 from a service recipient.

The anti-graft body said that further investigation was underway.
