Chinese nationals in Nepal instructed to abide by Nepali laws

KATHMANDU: The Chinese Embassy in Nepal has instructed Chinese nationals in Nepal to strictly abide by the laws and regulations and the lockdown measures adopted in Nepal.

“The Chinese side has always demanded that the Chinese citizens in Nepal should strictly abide by the laws and regulations of Nepal, express reasonable demands rationally and in accordance with the laws,” said spokesperson of the Chinese embassy in Nepal.

A clash broke out between Chinese nationals and police on Friday after a group of Chinese nationals, who were staging a sit-in in front of Singha Durbar demanding that they be allowed to go back to their country, tried to enter the premises.
