UK reports 31, 241 deaths, 211, 364 infection cases

KATHMANDU: The death toll in the United Kingdom (UK) has reached 31, 241 after 625 died in the last 24 hours.

According to Worldometer, with 4, 649 new cases,  the number of infection cases has surged to 211, 364 as of Saturday morning.

Currently, 179, 779 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 1, 559 are critical.   UK has performed tests on 1,631,561 people so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 275,934 and infecting 4,009,854 people as of Saturday morning.
