Italy reports 17, 669 deaths, with 542 in 24 hrs



KATHMANDU: The death toll from Coronavirus has reached 17, 669 after 542 died in a single day in Italy.

With 3, 836 new cases, the number of infections has reached 139, 422 so far.

Currently, 95, 262 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the country, of which 3, 693 are critical.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has killed 88, 334 and infected 1,509, 678 people as of Thursday morning, according to Worldometer.
