Bangladeshi Army Chief Ahmed calls on DPM Pokharel



KATHMANDU: Visiting Bangladeshi Army Chief Aziz Ahmed on Sunday paid a courtesy on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwor Pokharel.

During the meet at the Ministry of Defense, discussions were held on the issue of bilateral benefits between the countries.

DPM Pokharel handed over a token of love to Bangladeshi Army Chief Ahmed following the meet.

Ahmed arrived in Kathmandu on Friday on a five-day official visit to Nepal at the invitation of Nepal Army Chief Purna Chandra Thapa.

He is scheduled to call on President of Nepal, Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Oli.
