PM Oli calls dispute resolution task-force members to Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is also the chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has called the members of the intra-party dispute resolution task-force to Baluwatar for consultation.

Prime Minister Oli has called six members of the taskforce to iron out the existing differences that have been girdling the ruling NCP, of late.

General Secretary Bishnu Paudel, leaders Bhim Rawal, Surendra Pandey, Janardan Sharma, Pampha Bhusal are the members of the task-force.

Sharma and Bhusal are from the former CPN (Maoist Center). However, leaders of former CPN (UML) are not participating in today’s meeting, according to Baluwatar sources.

Leader Sharma is in home isolation due to COVID-19 infection while Bhusal said she would not take part in the meeting.

On July 21, the NCP had formed a six-member task-force to settle the intra-party dispute.
