BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 witnessed 155 fresh cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, the province witnessed 80 new cases in Morang, 60 in Sunsari, five in Bhojpur, four in Dhankuta, three in Jhapa and one each in Taplejung and Udaypur districts on Wednesday.
One person who tested COVID-19 positive today is said to be from outside the Province.
The Ministry informed that Biratnagar Metropolitan City saw 70 cases including 30 males and 40 females.
The province has seen 4,412 COVID-19 cases till date.
Similarly, the province has discharged 36 people after recovery making the number of discharged cases in the province 1,948.
