Six succumb to COVID-19, Nepal’s death toll reaches 312

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded six new coronavirus-related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 312, the Ministry of Health and Population stated.

According to the Ministry, three males and three females have died of the pandemic.

A 67-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman in Kathmandu, a 73-year-old woman in Kaski, a 42-year-old man in Arghakhanchi, an 80-year-old woman in Banke and a 64-year-old man in Nawalparasi died of the coronavirus.

Nepal had recorded six COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded 1,081 coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. With the new cases, Nepal’s caseload has reached 49,219.
