KATHMANDU: The COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has proposed to the government to postpone its decision of allowing operation of air services and long-route public transport from August 17.

The government had earlier decided to resume long route inter-district transport services from August 17.

A meeting of the CCMC held on Sunday decided to propose to the cabinet to postpone its previous decision to allow operation of long-route vehicles from August 17.

The CCMC has proposed to the government to allow operation of air services and long-route vehicles from August 31.

A meeting of the cabinet on Monday is likely to endorse the CCMC proposal to postpone the previous date, a minister who attended the meeting said.
