Kathmandu confirms five fresh coronavirus cases

KATHMANDU: Coronavirus has been confirmed in five more people in Kathmandu Valley in the past 24 hours.

At a regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health and Population on Thursday, Ministry Spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam said that Kathmandu reported the new cases while no cases were confirmed in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts.

Two cases were confirmed in tests at TU Teaching Hospital and one each at the National Public Health Laboratory, Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital and Bir Hospital.
