COVID-19 toll reaches 702 in State 1

BIRATNAGAR: As many as 702 people have been infected with coronavirus in State 1.

With 17 new cases spotted on Wednesday, the number has reached 701, according to the Social Development Ministry of the State.

While seven news cases have been reported in Jhapa district, Morang has seen 3 new cases, Sunsari 2, and Taplejung 2, Ilam 2 and Tehrathum 1.

Similarly, 49 people, including 10 women have returned home from hospitals after winning battle against the virus.

So far, a total of 527 people have been recovered from the infection in State 1.
