RPP urges govt to focus on COVID-19 prevention

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has urged the government to pay special attention to the implementation of coronavirus control and sensitization campaign.

Stating that the initiatives taken and works carried out so far by the government to prevent COVID-19 were the right ones, RPP has called for improvements in the government’s managerial efficiency and working style.

The party has also said that it has taken the government’s decision to extend the lockdown period positively while requesting all Nepalis to make the lockdown successful in a more disciplined and dignified way.

The party has also called on the government to delegate additional and clear-cut responsibilities to the State and local level governments regarding controlling COVID-19 and in relief distribution by providing them with the necessary resources.
