Docs refuse PM Oli’s demand to discharge him Monday



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli who underwent a kidney transplant on Wednesday has demanded with the doctors to discharge him from the hospital on Monday.

The prime minister requested that to the doctors attending to him arguing that his health has improved significantly.

However, doctors are for admitting him at the hospital for few more days, media reports said on Sunday.

The Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Saturday had said that there has been good progress in the health condition of PM Oli.

In a press statement, the hospital had said the prime minister has been provided with normal food and has been made to stroll around.

PM Oli is undergoing physiotherapy and is vital lab indexes are normal, the hospital had said.
