Resolution of urgent public importance presented in HoR



KATHMANDU: A resolution of urgent public importance related to the condition and management of landless, squatter and unorganized settler citizens has been presented in the House of Representatives today.

The proposal by Leader of the parliamentary party of the main opposition, NC, Bhisma Raj Angdembe, is seconded by CPN (UML) Chief Whip Ain Bahadur Mahar, Nepali Communist Party Chief Whip Yubaraj Dulal, and Shram Sanskriti Party Chief Whip Aren Rai.

Leader Angdembe said that the resolution was brought seeking a common action plan for the immediate response. He demanded that the government make an integrated action plan public within seven days.

The proposal states that the government should submit a progress report to the concerned parliamentary committee every 15 days and update the House monthly until the problem is resolved.
