IME Group Chairman Dhakal honored with ‘Asian Leadership Award’



KATHMANDU: Chairman of IME Group and Vice-chairman of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has been honored with ‘Asian Leadership Award’.

Prime Minister KP Oli honored Dhakal with the award amidst a function organized by the Asian Association of Management Organizations (AAMO) and Management Association of Nepal on Friday.

AAMO provides the award to one proficient businessman who contributes to the economic development and prosperity of the country through entrepreneurship.

Dhakal received the award for the year 2020.

The organization said Dhakal who is the Chairman of Global IME Bank and Chandragiri Hill was provided the award for his proficient, successful and leading roles in Nepal’s business sector.

While receiving the award, Dhakal said that he was motivated by the award, adding that the award was respect to whole Nepal’s private sector.
