SINDHUPALCHOWK: An unidentified group has attacked Khalde Police Post of Sindhulpalchowk District. A group of 12 people has attempted to attack the police post last night.

In the incident, two police personnel injured. Of them, sub-inspector of police Santosh Kumar Jha has been taken to Kathmandu for treatment while police head constable Hari Bahadur Magar is undergoing treatment at the Melamchi primary health center.

Among those involved in the attack, Som Thing of Sunkhani in the district has been arrested and an investigation is underway, police inspector Tamang said.

The police post is located on the border between Melamchi municipality and Paanchpokhari Thangpal rural municipality.
