KATHMANDU: The Visit Nepal Year 2020 (VNY2020) has been inaugurated internationally.
Promotional programs have so far been organized in Doha of Qatar, Beijing of China, Pretoria of South Africa, Paris of France, Ottawa of Canada, and Cairo of Egypt.
The Nepali Embassy in these countries took the initiative to organize tourism promotional events aimed at encouraging the citizens of those countries to visit Nepal.
Officials of Nepali diplomatic missions in the respective countries urged people to visit Sagarmatha (Mount Everest), the world’s highest mountain peak; and Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Budhha.
