NA peacekeepers leave for South Sudan



KATHMANDU: A 213-member contingent of Nepal Army peacekeepers has left for South Sudan on Sunday.

A team of Shri Gorakh Bahadur Gan led by

Lieutenant Colonel Sushil Pyakurel has left for South Sudan.

Nepal Army has long been deployed in South Sudan under the auspices of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force.

This team will replace the 211-member team led by Lieutenant Colonel Deepak Aryal.

A team led by Aryal will arrive in Nepal on Monday.
