Youth who died at Kapilvastu Hospital tests negative for COVID-19

KAPILVASTU: A youth who died at an isolation ward at Kapilvastu Hospital has tested negative for COVID-19.

The youth from Bijayanagar-2 had died while undergoing treatment on Monday evening.

Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr. Kishore Banjade said that the deceased swab sample was sent for test after he had shown symptoms similar to COVID-19.

The report came negative, he added.
