UK PM Johnson in ICU after symptoms worsen

LONDON: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson spent a night in intensive care at a central hospital after his coronavirus symptoms worsened.

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said Johnson, 55, is in ‘very good hands’.

Meanwhile, world leaders have sent messages to PM Johnson wishing him good health.

PM Johnson was admitted to St Thomas’ Hospital in London on Sunday with persistent symptoms and was moved to intensive care on Monday.

Reports said PM Johnson is not on a ventilator but has received oxygen support.
