Deuba suggests widening scope of lab tests for COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba drew the government’s attention towards placing immediate measures for widening the scope of laboratory tests for coronavirus.

He called for seriousness following the rise in the number of people infected from coronavirus in some of the areas in Sudurpaschim state of late.

President Deuba said he realized the need of increasing the tests following his telephonic conversation with Sudurpaschim state chief minister and Chief District Officers of Kailali and Kanchanpur districts.

“The situation requires widening the scope of tests immediately. I draw the government’s attention to that end”, Deuba noted.
