NC meeting underway in Budhanilkantha



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the main opposition Nepali Congress is taking place at President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkanta.

The meeting is dwelling on the coronavirus, the steps taken by the government and contribution the NC can make to control the novel virus, informed Bishwa Prakash Sharma, spokesperson of the party.

President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi, Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar, General Secretary Shashanka Koirala, Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy General Secretary Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, Treasure Sita Devi Yadav and senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel are taking part in the meeting.

NC is holding the meeting for the first time after the country went into the lockdown to contain and prevent the coronavirus pandemic.
