Chinese President Xi wishes speedy recovery to PM Oli



KATHMANDU: Chinese President Xi Jinping has wished for the speedy recovery of Prime Minister KP Oli.

According to Press Coordinator to PM Oli, Surya Thapa, the Chinese President sent a message on behalf of the Chinese government and people as well as in his own name extending sincere solicitude to PM Oli and wished him an early recovery.

“I am willing to work together with you to lead the relations between the parties and the countries to keep moving forward, deepen bilateral cooperation in various fields, and bring more benefits to both peoples,” the message further reads.

PM Oli is recuperating at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) after he underwent a kidney transplant on Wednesday.
