Leopard kills minor



KASKI: A leopard has killed a baby girl in Pokhara. The wild beast attacked and killed nine-year-old Puja BK of Pokhara metropolis-32, Kothegaun on Thursday night, confirmed Police Inspector at District Police Office Kaski Narahari Adhikari.

Her parents Deepak and Apsara BK had immediately searched for Puja after she did not return home till the evening. Police personnel and locals had intensified the search for the missing girl. Later her dead body was found at a forest nearby the village, police inspector Adhikari informed.

However, the man-eater leopard has not been spotted yet despite efforts. Earlier too, the incidents of children deaths in leopard attacks were reported in Tanahun district.
