7 persons undergoing treatment at Gangalal Hospital infected with COVID-19

KATHMANDU: As many as 7 patients undergoing treatment at the Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center have tested positive for COVID-19.

Dr. Basudev Pandey, Chief of the Division of Epidemiology and Disease Control confirmed that 7 persons have been infected with the coronavirus and their contacts are yet to be traced.

After diagnosed with the COVID-19 with the seven patients, all services at the Center, barring emergency service, have been suspended.

The center has issued a notice stating that all services except emergency have been suspended from Tuesday until further notice.

The center has mentioned in the information that the service has to be postponed as the patients admitted to the hospital have to maintain extra vigilance.
