KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has launched an Apps called ‘COBUDDY’ to inspect the people living in different quarantines. The government will be able to inspect people living in various quarantines through this application.
The app will be controlled by the government organizations. The system comes into force in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Baglung, Kanchanpur and Kailali from Monday.
The app is designed in a such a way that it grants the permission to enter after undergoing a face scanning. Likewise, the app will notify the concerned office if a person is out away from quarantine.
The app is developed by Aphno Nepal with the collaboration with Smart Telecom and Pro-Amar International and handed to the government free of cost.
Similarly, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs has constructed a platform to disseminate the information related to Covid-19 through a single website.
Now, people can access the information through covid19.ndrrma.gov.np.
