DHANUSHA: Police have arrested 14 persons from different wards of Janakpur Sub-metropolitan city on the charge of bursting firecrackers ‘to ward off coronavirus’.

A police team deployed from District Police Office, Dhanusha nabbed them on Sunday evening.

Firecrackers were burst and candles were lit ‘to ward off coronavirus’.

Bursting firecrackers is illegal in Nepal.
