200 cargo trucks including 53 LPG bullets enter Nepal



BIRGUNJ: Around 200 cargo trucks have entered Nepal via Birgunj checkpoint with foodstuffs and fuel.

According to Dr Ram Prasad Ghimire, secretary at the Ministry of Social  Development of Province-2, 20 cargo trucks laden with fruits and vegetables, 70 tankers of petroleum products and 53 bullets of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and 17 cargo trucks have entered Nepal.

He further said that other 14 container vans have entered Nepal via a checkpoint of Mahottari district.

The lockdown has been strictly implemented here in Province 2 with all the 109 check points boarding with India sealed.
