APF sets up border outpost in Kailali

KAILALI: The Armed Police Force (APF) has set up two border outposts at two places in Kailali district that shares border with India.

The paramilitary force has established a border outpost each at Srilanka of Tikapur municipality-8 and at Kusumghat of Bhajani municipality-3.

According to Chief of the BOP Khakraula, Inspector Chandra Dev Bhatta, a squad of 10 personnel under the command of Sub-Inspector has been assigned at each BOP.

Municipality mayor Tapendra Bhadur Rawal said establishment of the two BOPs would help curb illegal activities and movement of people across the border.

He said that the people living in the area have also felt secure with this.
