British Ambassador Pollitt meets NCP Chair Dahal

KATHMANDU: British Ambassador to Nepal, Nicola Pollitt met with Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal at his residence in Khumaltar on Thursday morning.

Ambassador Pollitt and Dahal discussed bilateral relationships between the two countries, apart from Nepal’s political, economic developments, and the peace process, among others, according to Dahal’s secretariat.

During the talks, NCP Chairman Dahal appreciated Britain’s role and contribution to Nepal’s development.

He also hoped that the centuries-old Nepal-Britain relationship will be further strengthened during the tenure of Ambassador Pollitt.

British Ambassador Pollitt expressed her commitment that her country would continue to support Nepal.
