SIRAHA: A child has drowned in the Kamutiya pond at Naraha rural municipality-5, Siraha today.
Three-year-old Raj Sharma, the son of Rameshwar Sharma of the same locality died in the incident.
The incident took place as the child was reportedly bathing in the pond. Locals rescued Raj and rushed him to the nearby health center, which referred him to a hospital. But he died on the way, Area Police Office, Golbazaar said.
