Odd-even rule imposed in places including Valley with over 200 cases



KATHMANDU: An odd-even rule has been enforced in various places of the country including the Kathmandu Valley with over 200 coronavirus infection cases starting today.

The government has decided to impose the odd-even rule not in all places but in those places in the country having over 200 infection cases, said Spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs Chakra Bahadur Budha.

According to a press note issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs issued on Wednesday evening, the entry into the Kathmandu Valley has also been banned from 7 pm to 7 am starting Thursday.

This rule, however, will not apply to the vehicles carrying essential goods.
