Cadres loyal to Oli, Prachanda clash in Kailali



KAILALI: At the time when internal feuds in the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has heightened, cadres of the party representing two different factions have clashed on Monday.

Cadres loyal to NCP Chairman and Prime Minister KP Oli had organized a corner assembly in support of the prime minister at Lamki Chowk in Lamki Chuha Municipality this afternoon.

Then, cadres loyal to another Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ attacked them after a speaker of the assembly accused Prachanda of troubling PM Oli.

Police immediately intervened and took control of the situation.
