NA rescues landslide victims in Gulmi



KATHMANDU: Nepal Army(NA) has rescued the landslide victims of Gulmi on Monday.

According to NA sources, NA’s in coordination with the locals and other security agencies, the Search and Rescue Team has taken out the dead bodies of a boy and a girl from Isma-1 Maldi and Musikot-2, Musikot respectively.

A total of six more rescued by NA have been sent to Kathmandu for further treatment. Out of them, two are undergoing treatment in the Maharajgunj-based Teaching Hospital and four are receiving treatment in the Chhauni-based Birendra Military Hospital.

In addition to the rescue of the landslide affected people, NA has arranged the temporary settlement of 117 households made vulnerable by the landslide.

NA has also distributed the relief materials arranged by the District Administration Office and Nepal Red Cross Society Gulmi.
