365 people recovered from COVID-19 in Nepal so far



KATHMANDU: A total of 365 people (299 men and 66 women) have recovered from COVID-19 so far.

Thirty-two people were discharged from health institutions after being cured of the infection on Saturday alone, said Dr Bikash Devkota, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population.

So far 3,235 infected people have been found across the country. Fifteen infected people between the age of 18 and 45 (14 men and one woman) from Dhanusa, Mahottari, Sarlahi and Jhapa districts have been discharged from Janakpur Provincial Hospital.

Likewise, four between the age group of 23 and 35 from Banke and Gulmi districts (two men and two women) have been discharged from Banke-based Sushil Koirala Prakhar Cancer Hospital.

Similarly, five between the age group of 11 and 38 from Baitadi and Achham districts (four men and one woman) have been discharged from Seti Provincial Hospital. Seven between the age group of 16 and 36 have been discharged from Surkhet Hospital.

Swabs of the total 229,912 have been tested through PCR and RDT across the country (92,477 through PCR and 137,435 through RDT).
